How can I put a stop payment on a business account check?

  • To set a Stop-Payment on a check issued from your business account you must first verify if the check was charged to your account. If it has not been charged, please follow these steps using Mi Banco Business:
    1. Log in to the desktop version of Mi Banco Business
    2. Select Account Services on the menu to the left.
    3. Click on the Stop Payment on Checks Issued option.
    4. Select the account where you want to make the stop payment.
    5. Enter the number of the issued check.
    6. Click on Accept applicable charges for requesting a stop payment on a check.
    7. Click on Send.
  • Stop payments on checks will be valid for a period of 10 years and have a $15 fee. You can also call the Commercial Support Center at 1.855.756.3939 to make a Stop Payment.
